Very cool work. I like the atmosphere and composition.

Highlights feel a bit dull though.

Hey Deandude:)

wow, it's been a while, good to see you posting something new

Fantastic drawing, love the long shadows and those
distant planets/moons give the impression that this is really an alternate universe.

Great stuff + 10

Very nice work. Love the grainy texture and warm tones. The composition is good but I don't care for the way the tree moves in and out of the frame. Perhaps widening the view on the left would help the composition.

Nice work

As I said on another rival channel, this is the best series ever. I love those corn fields! Always something sinister yet quaint about them in all your pics.

HOLY FUCK!!!
Mindblowing, man! That blur effect fucks my brain! And I love the idea with the mushrooms on the tree.
Wonderful! I hope you publish it, once its finished.
I want all of those drawings in a neat children book bound with human skin!!
Way to go!

lol why is everyone stuck on that tree? I'm happy with it :p I do think the scan is horrible though, i'll try to fix it.

Avatar Wysiwyg

 03/14/08 @973

Bad scanning can be an aesthetic choice to add character ;)

Your work is so peaceful man, I don't know why....but it takes me back to the days when I would slave over a drawing for days in my own little world. I really need to get back to that.

Clever use of bats for the leading lines ;)

very stylize; my only critique is a technical one, and may not really influence your art AS it is highly stylized... still, what with the air diffracting light all over the place, it would technically be brighter than the dark sides of the two moons, obscuring all but the lit-up crescents... (can you tell i'm an astrobuff? hehe)... still, very cool, +9

emagery: thanks for the comment..indeed the technical nuances aren't very important to me...if I can come close to drawing the idea in my head, while still adhering somewhat to the laws of physics, then a few technical oversights are acceptable :)
