As much as this is (once again) outstanding work, I somehow don't think it's quite up there with stage 1 and 2. In my point of view the building steals just a bit too much of the show. Its high contrast and highlight makes it the definite focal point in the composition and somehow leads the eye upwards.
This is nitpicking though, perhaps I'm just jealous! ;)

Avatar deandude

 12/17/06 @664

hey thomas, thanks for the feedback!

the crypt is supposed to be the focal point, as it's the subject of this stage (if I ever get around to writing this story, you'll understand....that is, if anyone ever reads it :/ ). Cheers.

This is definitely my favorite from the set so far. Something about it reminds me of a Poe story. Is he approaching a mausoleum? I cant wait for whats next...Absolutely incredible. +9

I like your drawings sooo much!! I'm glad I didn't miss this one. This warm colour makes such a special atmosphere. I know all the compliments sound banal,(aspecially when I'm getting back from your comment at my gallery) but I don't know how to say it so you understand I'm talking from heart:) I do like your drawing a lot!
